Do you need a notary to notarise a BEN2 Form?
The Registry of Beneficial Ownership in Ireland now requires individuals who are beneficial owners in Irish companies who do not have a PPSN to complete a BEN2 form.
If the BEN2 form is being signed by a beneficial owner who does not live in Ireland, then the beneficial owner will need a Notary Public to authenticate the document.
Once the document is notarised, it should be uploaded to the RBO Portal and you can proceed with the application for an RBO Transaction Number which can be used for making future beneficial ownership filings.
